„BALTIC WAY – 20’“

Lithuanian Association in Ireland together with Latvian Association in Ireland and Estonian Association in Ireland invite their countrymen to the football mini tournament in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the “Baltic Way”.
Twenty years ago, on the 23rd of August 1989 – the 50th anniversary the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact, almost two million people joined hands to create a 600 km long human chain from the foot of Toompea in Tallinn to the foot of the Gediminas Tower in Vilnius, crossing Riga and the River Daugava on its way, creating a synergy in the drive for freedom that united the three countries – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Estonian team, Latvian team and two Lithuanian teams will compete for the football cup.

Come and support your team! Do not forget the youngsters – bring your children, who will take over our sense and values of brotherhood and solidarity.
